About the Role

As a UX Research Intern at Ventrilo.ai, you’ll collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to conduct user research, gather insights, and translate them into actionable design recommendations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge product that has the potential to revolutionize how people interact with AI in their daily workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to identify high-impact research questions that align with user needs.
• Design and execute mixed-method studies, including usability/value tests, surveys, and in-depth interviews.
• Synthesize findings into meaningful themes, and expertly share these results with a variety of stakeholders by building a cohesive narrative that makes it easy for the audience to follow
• Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to understand user needs at a functional, emotional, and social level. 
• Develop and refine frameworks for evaluating AI-generated suggestions (relevance, hallucination rate, cognitive load)
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall user experience.

What We Require

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design with an emphasis in interaction, experience, and UI.
• Demonstrated experience with core research methodologies (usability testing, surveys, ethnographic studies) and a curiosity for why things work. 
• Desire to make an impact with your research and comfort working in a scrappy, high-velocity environment
• Continuously feed insights into our lightning-fast ship cycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
